# Can I set automatic pricing rules or markups?

Yes. The rules live under **Pricing** on the **Product setup** tab of your import options, and they apply to every import automatically.

Set **Price** to whichever way you think about margin, then put the figure in **Amount**:

| Price mode | Amount | Supplier $10 becomes |
| ---------- | ------ | -------------------- |
| Multiply supplier price by | `2` | $20.00 |
| Markup on supplier price | `150` | $25.00 |
| Discount off supplier price | `20` | $8.00 |

**Price rounding** then snaps each result to a retail-friendly ending, so you get $19.99 rather than $19.37.

| Seeing prices come in 100x too high (cents read as dollars)? Set Price to *Multiply supplier price by* with an Amount of `0.01` to rescale them. To also track profit, pair this with cost mapping.
