# Does this tool handle order fulfillment or inventory syncing?

Two different things, and the answer is different for each.

**Price and stock syncing: yes.**

Once a product is imported you can switch **monitoring** on for it, and Product Upload will keep re-checking the supplier's page for you.

* It runs on a **daily or weekly** cycle. You do not pick this: the app sets it
from the kind of source. Shopify storefronts are cheap to re-read, so they are
checked daily; marketplaces and other sites are checked weekly.
* It watches the **price** and whether the product is **still in stock**.
* When something changes, it comes back to you as a **proposal you review** rather than silently editing your store. You decide what gets applied.
* Re-checking a product you have already imported is **free**. It does not use your import credits.

Monitoring is **off until you turn it on**, and you turn it on for the products you want watched rather than the whole catalogue at once. You can also run a check yourself at any time instead of waiting for the cycle, and you can check a whole source in one go.

There is also **Update from source**, for when you want to pull the supplier's current details back into a product on demand: price, text, images or missing variants, field by field, with a before-and-after diff before anything is written.

**Order fulfilment: no.**

Product Upload does not place orders with your supplier or push tracking numbers back to your customers. For that you still want a dedicated fulfilment tool alongside it.

|| Credits: monitoring checks are free, however often they run and whether the app ran them or you did. Applying an **Update from source** costs **1 credit per product**, whatever you picked — copying a price across costs the same as rewriting the text, because the app re-reads the supplier page either way. Reviewing a proposal and choosing not to apply it is free.
