# How do I set a sale price or compare-at ("was") price on imported products?

When a supplier page lists a discounted price next to the original, Product Upload can map the original into the **compare-at price** so your store shows a struck-through "was" price beside the sale price.

This works best when the source page actually shows both a current and an original price.

The controls are under **Pricing** on the **Product setup** tab of your import options:

* **Price** and **Amount** set your retail price from the supplier's.
* **Compare at multiplier** sets the struck-through "was" figure.
* **Show as on sale** turns the comparison on for the imported products.

|| If you have set this up and the compare-at price isn't showing, the source page may only expose a single price, so there is nothing to map. Send support the product URL and a screenshot and we'll take a look.
