# The imported title doesn't match the source product - how do I fix it?

By default the AI rewrites titles for SEO, so the imported title will not always match the supplier's wording word for word. Occasionally it can also pick up the wrong title on pages with an unusual layout.

Your options, in order of how much control you want:

* **Keep the supplier's title as-is:** on the **Content** tab, set the **Title** card to **Keep**.
* **Rewrite to your own format:** leave it on **Rewrite** and hit **Add title examples to guide formatting**, then paste two or three of your own titles. Give it at least two — with only one, the AI reads the whole line as fixed text and every product can come out with that same title.
* **Add a rule:** put something like `Keep the product title close to the source page wording` in **Extra instructions** under Advanced.
* You can always edit the title directly on the draft product before publishing.
